A free or low cost pedigree database for a website that also provides "on the fly" COI calculation (ability to do proposed matings), search engine capability, photographs and many other important or useful options, is not presently available.  There is a program that could be implemented that will do this, however, due to the high purchase costs and annual maintenance costs of such a program, a paid membership service would be required.  If there is enough interest, it could be implemented and available for use by those interested in the very near future. The program will allow member access from only one computer location via ITP recognition (to prevent giving access codes to non-members) and there would be restrictions on the number of pages you can access daily and monthly.  Those that abuse their privilege would be prevented further access without membership fee refund. Member usage information is provided by a built in monitoring system to prevent abuse, harvesting and mining of data.  The membership fee would be determined by the number of interested people, so the more people that obtain membership, the lower the cost per member, this is required to discourage people acquiring information for non members.  A membership fee would always be required as there are maintenance fees for the program annually from the software developer. The membership fee would be readjusted annually according to the number of members.
